Students Enjoy Conversation and Pizza with the Chief Judge

ATLANTA (April 9, 2026)—Scholars from Cooper Middle School in Austell, Ga., recently spent a day touring the Fulton County Courthouse. Tour stops included the grand jury for a Q&A, courtroom 8F for an intimate conversation with Chief Judge Ural Glanville, and pizza to end the day. The tour is part of a mentorship program spearheaded by Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., designed to keep young people on the right track and guide them toward a career in law.

"We're honored to have the kids from Cooper Middle School here," said Chief Judge Glanville. "It's my way to give back to the legal profession and also to grow future leaders."

Students also got a chance to chat with members of the Fulton County District Attorney's Office, Sheriff's Office, and Superior Court Administration.

It's clear the visit had a positive impression on the group. "If you have a good attitude and do good things, you won't get in trouble," said Ashton Brown, one of the Cooper scholars.
